About the Author

Rana Shubair is a Palestinian author, speaker, genocide survivor, and mother of three whose powerful storytelling offers a poignant glimpse into life in Gaza. An avid reader and coffee lover, she has published three books that weave personal and collective narratives of resilience, hope, and survival. Through her writing, Rana amplifies the voices of her homeland, sharing stories that illuminate both the struggle to live and love, and the enduring strength of the Palestinian people. During the war on Gaza. Rana lost her husband, parents, sister-in-law, nephew, and a number of close relatives and friends.
